What is the Purpose of the Plano Firefighters Association?          

To advocate for our membership specifically in the following areas

• Fair wages
• Reasonable work hours and adequate leave
• Safe working conditions (PPE, apparatus, stations, etc.)
• Ensuring that applicable laws/ordinances, city policies, and departmental SOPs are uniformly enforced
• Member representation including providing legal assistance

Additional services that we provide

• Benevolence towards membership and/or family of members
• Community relations and outreach
• Supporting and fundraising for charitable causes including, but not limited to, MDA and breast cancer organizations
